As a leader, you will possess a Service Improvement mindset, championing cutting-edge methods within our Service Experience and Improvement team's projects. Your mission is to masterfully design and elevate the service experiences for our students, staff, and academics, ensuring every interaction is seamless and impactful.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive Optimal Outcomes: Ready and willing to apply a blended toolkit of Service Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM), Design (Service, UX), Project Management, and Change & Communications.
- Lead Transformative Projects: Spearhead multiple improvement initiatives, refining processes and enhancing service/operating/governance models for students, academics, and staff, while coaching junior team members.
- Cultivate Strategic Partnerships: Engage and manage relationships with senior university stakeholders, advocating for Service Improvement to solve complex challenges.
- Champion Sustainable Excellence: Deliver lasting results that uphold the University's commitment to continuous improvement and foster a high-achieving, collaborative work environment.
You may be a great fit if:
We are seeking a Service Improvement Lead who can expertly frame problems and leverage diverse problem-solving approaches. You'll analyse data to understand the Voice of Customer, map processes to identify improvements, and streamline workflows. This role demands proven project management skills and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams using Service Improvement methodologies. Crucially, you will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships, facilitate engaging workshops, and champion change with a growth mindset.
You may also have:
- Qualifications which may be in one of the following fields of study - Lean, 6Sigma, Lean 6Sigma, BPM or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Tertiary, or other qualifications which may be in one of the following fields of study - Business, Engineering, Systems Thinking.
- Experience and broad knowledge of the practice of Service, Process and Business improvement, with the ability to engage and advocate for these methods.
