About the role

As the Senior Supervising Solicitor at Redgum Justice (formerly Gosnells Community Legal Centre), you will lead a team of solicitors and paralegals in delivering high-quality legal services to the local community. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the centre's Family Law practice, ensuring efficient case management and providing strategic guidance to the team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families in the Gosnells region.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and manage a team of solicitors and paralegals, providing guidance, support and mentorship

Oversee the Family Law practice, ensuring all cases are handled effectively and within set timelines

Provide high-level legal advice and representation in complex Family Law matters

Develop and implement strategies to improve the centre's service delivery and client outcomes

Liaise with external stakeholders, such as other legal service providers and government agencies

Contribute to the centre's community engagement initiatives and outreach programs

What we're looking for

Admitted as a solicitor in Western Australia, with a minimum of 5 years' post-admission experience

Extensive expertise in Family Law, with a proven track record of successful case management

Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders

Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality legal services and advocating for the rights of vulnerable individuals and families

Familiarity with legal aid and community legal centre operations, or a willingness to learn
