Job Title: Student Recruitment Manager
Reporting to: CEO and Head of Campus
Job Purpose:
The Student Recruitment Manager plays a crucial role in attracting and enrolling domestic students, ensuring a steady intake of qualified applicants and maintaining the institute's presence in local communities. This role will have the opportunity of meeting enrolment targets, building relationships with key educational partners, and effectively promoting its programs to prospective students across the region.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the role:
Strategic Recruitment Planning:
Develop and implement a targeted recruitment strategy for domestic students in NSW.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for engagement in the NSW region.
Set recruitment targets and monitor progress to meet enrolment goals.
Relationship Building and Outreach:
Establish and maintain relationships with high schools, education counsellors, and key stakeholders within the education sector.
Represent the institute at school fairs, open days, and community events to promote undergraduate programs.
Coordinate and deliver presentations, information sessions, and campus tours tailored to prospective students.
Marketing and Engagement:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and digital campaigns targeting NSW audiences.
Implement social media and digital outreach strategies to connect with prospective students and their families.
Engage in public relations activities, including content creation and partnerships with local media outlets, to enhance brand visibility.
Pipeline Management and Reporting:
Manage the student application pipeline from initial inquiry through to enrolment, ensuring timely follow-ups and personalized engagement.
Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on enrolment numbers, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
Use CRM tools to analyze recruitment data, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Collaboration with Admissions and Student Services:
Work closely with admissions and student services teams to ensure a seamless application and enrolment process.
Provide insights to academic and support teams about prospective student needs and expectations.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven track record in successfully executing recruitment campaigns and meeting enrollment targets.
- Strong knowledge of the NSW education system and local student recruitment trends.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and data analytics tools to track and report on recruitment efforts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Goal-oriented with a results-driven approach to recruitment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism.
