We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Heavy Vehicle Accessory Fitter to join our workshop team, specialising in Prime Mover accessory and bullbar fitting. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, involving the installation and modification of truck components and accessories to meet build specifications and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fit and install a wide range of truck accessories including bullbars, toolboxes, air conditioning units, lighting, and other components
• Read and follow technical drawings and fitting instructions to complete builds accurately
• Conduct checks to ensure all fitted components meet safety, quality, and performance standards
• Collaborate with the Leading Hand and team to meet build timelines
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to workshop safety procedures
• Support workshop flow by ensuring parts are correctly installed and aligned to specification

What We’re Seeking:

• Previous experience in truck fitting, accessory fitting, or similar automotive roles
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills with heavy vehicles or equipment
• Ability to follow detailed fitting plans and component layouts
• High attention to detail and quality finish
• Familiarity with working around prime movers or heavy-duty trucks (advantageous)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Safety-conscious and reliable work ethic

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and handle truck accessories
• Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions including bending, reaching, and confined spaces
