About the role

As the Workshop Maintenance Supervisor at Expro Group Australia Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance operations of our workshop located in Chinchilla, Brisbane. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our workshop equipment and facilities, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and coordinate the maintenance activities of the workshop team

Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to optimise equipment performance and lifespan

Oversee the repair and servicing of workshop equipment, tools, and facilities

Manage the procurement of spare parts, materials, and supplies required for maintenance

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Provide technical guidance and support to the workshop team

Monitor and report on the workshop's maintenance performance and budget

Identify and recommend improvements to maintenance processes and procedures

What we're looking for

Substantial experience as a Workshop Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing or logistics environment

Strong technical knowledge and understanding of workshop equipment, tools, and maintenance practices

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address maintenance issues efficiently

Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage and motivate the workshop team

Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Proficient in the use of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)

Proven track record of implementing and improving preventative maintenance programs
