About the role
Join the dynamic TTO Service Planning team, where you'll play a key role in organising replacement passenger transport services during planned track closures on the Perth Urban Rail Network. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of service disruptions, including the administrative, resourcing, and logistical requirements. You'll liaise with Transperth Bus Contractors, negotiate with stakeholders to reduce passenger impact, and supervise major events or disruptions as needed. The role also involves collecting and analysing statistical data on passenger utilisation and timetable performance to inform ongoing improvements and support effective service planning.
Additional responsibilities include producing reports, conducting post-closure reviews, processing invoices in line with PTA guidelines, and ensuring all relevant documentation is shared with stakeholders. You’ll regularly review operational reports to identify public transport issues, contribute to multidisciplinary team goals, and provide support across various functions as required. About You!
To excel in this role, you should possess:
Understanding of public transport operations, contract management, and planning. Experience in large-scale urban transport and a background in urban or regional planning are highly valued.
Written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
Research and analytical abilities to solve problems and support service improvements. Taking initiative and thinking critically are key parts of this role.

There is one permanent full-time opportunity available for an immediate start. Applicants assessed as suitable through this process may be used to fill similar vacancies both fixed term and permanent that may arise within the next 12 months.
