About the role
As a Contracts Administrator, you will take full responsibility for overseeing all aspects of contract management for construction projects. You will work closely with Construction Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure the accurate execution of contracts, that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations, and that any issues or disputes are resolved promptly.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Project Management Team to deliver on contractual obligations and Project objectives.
Prepare trade recommendations and subcontract agreements, ensuring proper execution with subcontractors.
Develop contract letting schedules and revise, terminate, or reissue contracts as necessary.
Draft variations for Project Manager approval and review subcontractor variations and claims.
Prepare meeting agendas and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
Conduct job costing and cost reporting, and review drawings and specifications.
Manage document control effectively.
Perform all duties in a manner consistent with relevant legislation and occupational safety and health legislation.
Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce, Management, Construction or related field.
Proven Contract management experience in construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, laws, and regulations.
Team player able work on multidisciplinary projects.
Excellent communication, verbal and written skills.
Proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office applications.
