Retail Superstar in Creative Environment

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic retail superstar to join our team. You will need to be passionate about creativity, great at multitasking and proactive as well as a love for customer service!

Kaleidoscope is a unique retail space showcasing local artists, makers and designers. Our aim is to connect these local artisans to the community, so if this is something you are passionate about too then perhaps this is the job for you. You will be surrounded by beautiful handmade things and chat to and help wonderful customers, sounds fun right?

As part of the team in Kaleidoscope you will be given a level of responsibility and autonomy but have a support network to call upon. There will never be a dull moment in this creative environment where you can thrive in the local community.

The role at Kaleidoscope:

- 28 - 35 hours per week available for the right person, including the odd weekend (however primarily weekdays)

- Providing delightful service to our lovely customers

- Merchandising displays, restocking and tidying products and shop

- Representing creative makers

- Using our CMS system to upload products

- Promoting new products, makers and campaigns through social media

- Cash handling and administrative duties including email correspondence

- Ensuring a high standard of presentation and cleanliness

About you:

- Exceptional customer service and communication skills

- Passion or interest in the creative/arts industry

- A high standard of personal presentation

- A positive attitude and be able to thrive autonomously

- Proactive across all areas

- Good technological skills including knowledge across the Microsoft suite

- A willingness to learn about makers/vendors and their products

- A big smile and bags of common sense

- Have weekday & weekend availability
