Platinum Mining & Marine is actively seeking experienced Heavy Duty Fitters for underground mining operations. We offer top rates, flexible rosters, and real support – no red tape, just solid work with a team that knows the field.

What We Offer:

• $75 - $90 per hour – paid based on experience (full time and casual positions)

• Flexible FIFO rosters: 2/2 or 7/7

• Consistent hours on a rolling roster

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, breakdown repairs, servicing, and/or rebuilds on underground mobile equipment

• Ensure all work is completed to safety and performance standards

• Maintain accurate service records and communicate faults or hazards

• Contribute to a team that values quality, reliability, and trust

You’ll Need:

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Fitter / Mobile Plant Mechanic

• Experience with Sandvik, Caterpillar, Atlas Copco, Normet or similar underground equipment (preferably drill experience)

• Valid manual driver’s licence and relevant mine site tickets (when applicable)

• Ability to work unsupervised with a proactive safety mindset
