About the role

Due to our current hygienist moving away, we are now seeking an experienced Oral Hygiene Therapist to join our dedicated team at Tamworth Oral Health and Dental Care in Tamworth, NSW. As a full-time Oral Hygiene Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive oral health care to our diverse patient base. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our well-established dental practice.

What you'll be doing

Performing routine dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to maintain optimal oral hygiene with strong established books

Collaborating with the dentists to develop and implement personalised treatment plans

Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records

Adhering to all infection control protocols and safety standards

Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

Registered Oral Hygiene Therapist with a current Dental Board of Australia registration

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a dental practice

Strong communication and patient care skills, with the ability to put patients at ease

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate dental care

Proficient in the use of dental equipment and software

Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
