Are you an experienced dental hygienist or oral health therapist who is looking for a great new opportunity? We have been established for 7 years as a general dental practice and are ready to expand our hygiene department and to replace our current hygienist. The job is mainly hygiene-based, but would also suit an OHT with an interest in orthodontics and adult scope. Our current hygienist is involved in Invisalign, splints, restorations, and treatment planning within their scope.

We want a hygienist with the communication skills to work well with a team providing comprehensive care, but the skills and confidence to work independently. We will want someone working Monday and Wednesday, with every Saturday or alternating Saturdays. Our Saturday is a shortened day. There is potential to add Friday and one other day or half day in the future if full-time is desirable.

Our patient demographic is young, professional, and time-poor. We expect a high focus on patient care, communication, and superior patient care. Hygiene for adults will be the daily focus but teeth whitening, digital impressions, and orthodontic photography will be a significant part of the role. Our practice sees children, but not in very high volume, due to the demographics. You will be primarily working with the lead practitioner but, for those with the scope, independent examination, diagnosis and treatment is highly regarded.
