Work with one of the leading TAFEs in Australia with and become part of a quality and highly experienced training team in a dynamic and growing Care Sector department. The TAFE we are representing deliver to over 40 000 students per year and are viewed as the pre-eminent RTO in the health space within Victoria.

We are currently seeking 2 experienced and student focused teachers to teach a combination of Cert III Individual support, Certificate IV Ageing Support and Certificate IV in Disability within their Allied Health Department. You will be provided with excellent working conditions in brand new state of the art facilities, with maximum of 21 hours delivery per week for 40 weeks per year.

The role is hybrid, working from home 2-3 days per week.

If you can deliver all 3 qualifications that is desirable, however trainers who have strong industry experience at Certificate III Individual Support level will be hired for the position!

On a day-to-day basis, your role will include:

* Facilitating Classroom based learning
* Provide support to the students throughout their course
* Provide ongoing individual support and tutoring
* Review/evaluate training programs as requested
* Review/evaluate assessment processes and modify as requested
* Upgrading and keeping resources abreast with changes in the industry

The ideal person for this role will have the following skills and experience:

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs 2015

AQF level 3 qualification or higher in the field of Ageing and/or Disability Support

Registration with relevant professional bodies as required for the teaching discipline

A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver

A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge
