Buzz Consultants is the leader in Member Engagement and Gaming Solutions for Clubs and Pubs across 3 states (and growing!).

With the success of our BuzzConnect platform and increasing demand for real-time data across 90+ venues, we’re looking for a detail-driven Junior IT Assistant to join our buzzing Gladesville team.

Our IT systems are the engine room behind everything we deliver — from member campaigns to client reporting.

You’ll need solid SQL skills, great communication, and the drive to solve problems quickly and collaboratively.

You’ll be reporting directly to the IT Manager, supporting day-to-day operations and playing a key role in long-term projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily data file transfers for 90+ venues
• Use SQL (Microsoft & Oracle) to run our Buzz data export app
• Liaise with suppliers to follow up on missing or delayed files
• Support the Buzz team with internal IT troubleshooting
• Work with the Communications Software and BI teams to ensure systems are running smoothly
• Assist the IT Manager on infrastructure and long-term systems projects

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years’ experience in IT, systems support, or data

• Experience with providing remote access support

• Proficient in SQL (intermediate level or higher)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident managing multiple tasks across teams

Nice to Have

• Experience in the clubs, pubs, or gaming industry (Ebet, Aristocrat, IGT)
• Exposure to business intelligence or reporting tools

Experience with REST API

Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI
