About the Position

The City of Cockburn is seeking a Plant Operator to support the maintenance of its road, path, and drainage networks. The role involves operating a variety of machinery—primarily skid steer loaders, as well as front-end loaders and road/path sweepers. This is a great opportunity to join the City’s Civil Infrastructure Team and play a key role in enhancing vital public infrastructure.

About You

The successful candidate will possess a Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence and demonstrate a high level of expertise in operating construction machinery within maintenance and construction environments. Proficiency in the use of hand tools and minor plant equipment is also required. Additionally, a White Card and traffic management qualifications are essential. The role demands the ability to perform physical labour while maintaining a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Salary: $73,374.09 - $74,291.46 per annum plus super, depending on qualifications and experience.
