Embroidery Operator

Selective Industries are currently seeking a Full Time Embroidery Operator who will be responsible for running a brand new Tajima 8 head. This role requires a high level of detail and focus and must be able to work in a team environment.

Embroidery experience preferred, however full training will provided for the right candidate.

Full time, 8.00am - 4.00pm, 5 days a week, permanent position.

About the role:

Operating embroidery machine

Hooping garments ready for embroidery.

General machine maintenance – Oiling and tension adjustments.

Keeping work area clean and tidy at all times.

Lifting and moving cartons and stock.

Unpacking and folding/repacking garments for the embroidery process.

Reading and Interpreting embroidery job sheets.

Working along side others, teamwork is essential

The criteria for this role is:

Fit and able to spend long periods of time on your feet

Attention to detail counting stock and checking for discrepancies

Able to work independently

Positive and friendly attitude, team player in a small environment

Time management and flexible in responding to changing work priorities

To grow and learn within the company to learn various roles

General computer skills eg: microsoft outlook, excel & word.
