About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new venture at ML Builders as a Building Manager in our Adelaide office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the construction and renovation of properties following major insurance claims. You will play a key role in delivering projects to the highest quality standards while ensuring customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing all aspects of construction and renovation projects, from planning and budgeting to project delivery

Liaising with insurance providers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project coordination

Monitoring project timelines, quality, and costs to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during the construction process

Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Providing regular progress updates to stakeholders and the wider team

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (5+ years) in construction project management, preferably within the insurance or property repair industry

Proven track record of delivering complex construction and renovation projects to a high standard

Existing relationships with clients and trades preferred

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and insurance providers

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on finding practical solutions

Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards

Proficient in the use of project management software and other relevant technology

Tertiary qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is highly desirable
