We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dairy Farm Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of the dairy farm, ensuring the well-being of the herd and contributing to the smooth running of the farm. Training will be provided, but prior experience with farm work or animal care is an advantage.
As a Dairy Farm Hand, you play a vital role in the heartbeat of our farm, ensuring the health and well-being of our herd while supporting the smooth operation of daily activities. Your hands-on work directly contributes to the production of high-quality milk and the overall success of the farm. This role requires dedication, attention to detail, and a deep respect for animals, offering you the opportunity to be part of a hardworking team committed to sustainable farming practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Milking cows according to the farm's schedule and ensuring cleanliness and safety during the process.
Assisting with the care and maintenance of the livestock, including monitoring their health and reporting any concerns.
Cleaning and maintaining farm equipment and facilities, including yards, dairy and calf sheds.
Managing waste disposal in compliance with farm protocols and environmental guidelines.
Assisting with the herd's breeding, calving, and general management.
Ensuring the farm is kept clean, organized, and safe for animals and staff.
Supporting other farm operations as needed, including haymaking and pasture management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in farm work or animal husbandry is beneficial but not required.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and potentially on holidays as required.
Physical stamina and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
A genuine interest in animal welfare and farm operations.
Working Conditions:
Full-time or part-time position with varying hours based on farm needs and employee flexibility.
Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
