About the role

MPC Solutions is seeking an experienced Gold Room Operator to join our valued gold mining client on a 8/6 days only, contract basis (with a view to go permanent ) in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. As a Gold Room Operator, you will play a crucial role in the mining and processing operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of precious metals.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maintain gold room equipment, including furnaces, refining equipment.

Perform metal sampling, weighing, and recording to ensure accurate inventory and production data

Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Assist in the preparation of metal shipments

What we're looking for

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Gold Room Operator

Strong understanding of gold room equipment, processes, and safety protocols

Proficient in metal sampling, weighing, and inventory management

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

$65 - $67 per hour
