Protech is currently seeking a Senior Process Operator to join our client — a growing, ASX-listed gold producer and development company. Operating both established and emerging assets, our client is actively expanding their footprint at a key gold project located in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields. This position is offered on a FIFO basis with a rotating roster: 8 days on / 6 days off (dayshift), followed by 7 days on / 7 days off (nightshift).

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Start Date (ASAP)
• Temp to Perm
• 12-hour days / FIFO 8:6 (Days), 7:7 (Nights) from Perth

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Reports to Process Supervisor
• Complete equipment pre-starts, mobile and static
• Complete safety inspections and safety action to the desired time
• Actively promote safety within the team
• Actively raise hazards and identified
• Monitor, control and operate processing circuits of the processing plant, including multi-stage crushing circuits, grinding, CIL, gravity and electro-winning circuits, gold room, tails storage facility, and water systems
• Data collection and maintain accurate data entry logs
• Establish effective working relationships with metallurgy and maintenance personnel to achieve high plant reliability and production targets
• Maintain the day to day running of the Gold room to ensure the smooth and continual elution and stripping process is always maintained

TICKETS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 5 years Previous gold process plant operator and gold room experience
• Collect data and input into systems
• Effective time management skills including the ability to multi-task
• Minimum of a full WA manual driver’s license Class “C”
• Bridge and gantry cranes
• Forklift ticket
• Front End Loader ticket
• Skid Steer Loader (Bobcat)
• Confined Space and Gas Test Atmosphere
• Certificate - Work at Height
• Microsoft Computer Skill - Intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Safety System data input InControl (INX)
• PRONTO Raise work orders
