About this Role
You will lead a team of 4-7 accountants and be directly responsible for circa $1.25 - $2m in annual fees. This is generally a not ‘on the tools’ role as you are not only managing staff but will be the main point of contact for your client groups.
Your client interaction will include a high level of commercial/business advisory.
Skills and Experience

In your role you will enjoy plenty of interaction both in person and on the phone.
They are seeking a person with great skills and a great outlook. As well as being an excellent communicator and skilled negotiator, you will have:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a public practice environment
CA/CPA/IPA qualification or working towards it.
Previous experience in compliance and tax
Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation
Ability to assess priorities and the drive to see them through to completion.
Ability to take initiative, consider alternative solutions and act autonomously.
A keen interest in delivering exceptional service to a wide range of clients.
A team mentality and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
