About the role:
As an APS6 Technical Advisory Officer, you’ll be part of a specialist advisory team providing expert guidance on unique and often sensitive support needs. You’ll contribute to critical decision-making frameworks and help deliver consistency, clarity, and quality across planning and operational processes. This is a key role that bridges technical expertise and impactful action.

What you will do:

Provide expert advice using a coaching and mentoring approach to guide appropriate support recommendations

Navigate complex and sensitive scenarios with professionalism and empathy

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support consistent, high-quality decisions

Prepare clear, concise written and verbal communications, supported by sound documentation

What you will bring:

Tertiary qualifications in one of the following areas: Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Social Work, or a related allied health field

Experience in clinical, hospital, aged care or community settings

A confident, analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making

Ability to interpret and apply complex policy and legislative frameworks
