RESPONSIBILITIES
This dynamic Assistant Manager role encompasses comprehensive support across the branch's core operational areas. You will be responsible for supporting daily administrative functions, including internal coordination, meeting arrangements, staff support, financial record assistance, and general reception or publicity tasks as required.
The position involves providing IT support for users through system access control, troubleshooting coordination, and basic system maintenance tasks. You'll assist in identifying IT-related risks and compliance requirements while supporting audits or internal reviews as instructed. Additionally, you'll collaborate with other departments and follow through on tasks assigned by the Sydney Head Office or Melbourne branch management, ensuring seamless operations across all business functions.
You will be expected to execute tasks with strong planning and time management to ensure timely and orderly delivery of daily administrative and IT support duties. The role requires you to demonstrate initiative in identifying needs, resolving routine issues, and supporting cross-department coordination with logical workflows. You must maintain accuracy, consistency, and discretion in handling documentation and internal communications.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required
Familiarity with basic bank administration processes and procedures
Strong organizational skills and ability to execute tasks across departments efficiently
Hands-on experience with IT systems (e.g., user support, access management, basic troubleshooting)
Good command of both English and Mandarin in written and verbal communication
Experience in administration and/or financial support roles, as well as in the operation and maintenance of network equipment, is preferred
High sense of responsibility and attention to detail; ability to follow clear workflows and instructions
Prior experience in cross-department coordination or international settings is an advantage
