About the role

The role primarily involves project and change management whilst leading the clinical implementation of the Queensland Telestroke Program (QTS). This includes guiding multidisciplinary project teams, internal service providers, and external vendors to ensure the delivery of activities for establishing QTS across the state, hosted by the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital (RBWH). Responsibilities encompass developing a Telestroke Model of Care in collaboration with subject matter experts, creating associated program plans for state-wide implementation, and formulating an implementation strategy, including adoption and communication at a strategic level. • Bring together best evidence from the various disciplines working within the QTS to enable the delivery of evidence-based emergency stroke management for patients receiving care facilitated by QTS.

  • Manage Program Governance, Control, and Quality, including the organisation of program-related meetings to ensure program benefits are realised.
  • To collaborate with clinical experts, other Australian Telestroke service staff and stakeholders to review and analyse current evidence and trends relevant to the implementation of QTS.
