About the role

Provide high-level physiotherapy clinical services (which may include assessment, treatment, evaluation and case management) as a member of the Geriatric Evaluation and Management Service in accordance with established clinical protocols, prescribed professional standards and the Queensland Health Code of Conduct.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Exercise independent professional clinical judgment in providing Physiotherapy clinical services of a complex nature where principles, procedures, techniques or methods require expansion, adaptation or modification, without the need for direct regular clinical practice supervision.
  • Actively participate within the discipline of Physiotherapy and the multidisciplinary team's clinical environment to ensure that physiotherapy services are integrated, efficient and equitable for the community serviced.
  • Liaise with patients and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students and researchers.
