About the Role
Casual Positions - Community Based, Edenhope Region
Grampians Health, Edenhope are looking for Health Care Workers to join the Primary Health team and provide support to our community.
Qualifications in this area will be considered favourably, but we also encourage those who are passionate, creative, want to make a difference, and are willing and eligible to gain the required qualifications to also apply.
This role involves providing support within their homes. Through tasks such as
- Domestic Assistance
- Personal Care
- Respite
- Social Support
You will be a part of a dynamic and supportive team providing exceptional care to our community.

Skills & Experience
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent will be viewed favourably, as will a willingness to undertake the required training.
- Current Victorian or equivalent driver's license
- Demonstrate the ability to provide person centred care that meets the individual needs of each client.
- Possess a Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support or equivalent preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrate the ability to provide direct consumer care that meets the individual needs of the clients in the community and relatives.
- Computer skills: intermediate computer skills with demonstrated ability to use computer software particularly Microsoft Office Suite
- Have the physical ability to bend, twist, crouch, squat, kneel, stand, walk, reach above shoulder height, lift, push/pull.
- Adaptability, initiating action, collaboration, managing work (including time management), work standards and stress tolerance.
- Demonstrated person-centred care and respectful approach to clients, visitors and staff.
