The Setup

A newly awarded long-term contract in the heart of South Australian mining, the site is a well recognised mining hub with further inclusions planned for the future.

The Roster

The roster is a 2/2 roster - start on days / finish on nights), the travel would consist of the below;

• Fly interstate from point of hire afternoon before first shift and to site early morning next day - 12-hour shifts
• Leave site in the morning for R&R and interstate mid morning/early afternoon

The Role

Your position as an Auto Electrician will see you working in the above ground workshop and assisting in field service with breakdowns as required, machinery consisting of drills, boggers, trucks, ITs, light vehicles and more.

• Undertaking scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, and fitting parts
• Attending breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostic work, and providing technical support
• Working within safety guidelines, policies, and procedures

Your Value

The ideal candidate will come from a heavy, civil, road transport or agricultural background - underground or mining experience is highly regarded.

• Auto Electrical qualification
• Able to adapt to various conditions & environments across the workshop/field
• Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence + able to obtain a National Police Check within 6-8 months
• Excellent culture and safety record
• Working independently and within a team environment
