Our client is a proud family-owned business, specialising in innovative automotive solutions, including vehicle accessories and storage enhancements. Committed to high-quality, customised products, they are excited to expand their team and are currently looking for a new Accessory Fitter / Auto Electrician to join them.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

You’ll be hands-on with auto electrical tasks, including working with lighting and batteries, and fitting vehicle accessories like shelving, roof racks, and towbars. You’ll start out on the tools, eventually stepping up to mentor a team of apprentices as the branch grows.

Reporting directly to the manager, you'll also travel interstate to support other branches and take on emergency service work, including installing emergency lighting and sirens.

The role:

Handle electrical diagnostics, repairs, and installations in vehicles.

Install vehicle accessories like shelving, roof racks, and towbars.

Communicate progress and performance directly to the manager.

Travel interstate to support other branches when needed.

Assist with emergency service work, including setting up lighting and sirens.

ABOUT YOU

You’re skilled in auto electrics and fitting accessories, with a solid understanding of how things fit together, and you have a genuine passion for hands-on work.

To be successful, you will need:

Experienced in auto electrical work, especially with inverters, lighting, and batteries.

Skilled in fitting and installing vehicle accessories.

Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor a team.

Ready to travel interstate when needed.

Competent in both electrical and non-electrical installations.

Hold a genuine passion for auto-electrics and vehicle customisation.

Experienced and confident, even if not formally qualified.

Flexible, adaptable, and willing to take on diverse tasks.

Previous emergency service work is a plus but must be willing and able to perform these tasks.
