The Findlay Group (WFL, FFCAP and FFCL) is a long-standing family-owned and operated business. It is a value-driven, fast-growing international, with manufacturing plants in 3 countries. In addition to being the local plant bread bakery in Gisborne and Line-hauling our products to Wairarapa, the Group has Bread Crumb and Powder Blending Plants in Dunedin, Bathurst NSW. The largest plant in the Group is based in Idaho USA and blends Batter Powders specifically for French Fries. A recent addition to the Group is a new Batter Powder plant in Melbourne VIC.

This position is fully supported by our Technical Facility based in Auckland NZ and the USA .

The Group’s Head Office is based in Gisborne.

About the Role:
Position: Production Operator
Schedule: Monday to Thursday – 12-hour shifts (day or night)

We offer full training — no prior experience required! You'll be involved in:

Measuring and mixing ingredients

Operating machinery and monitoring processes

Reporting safety hazards or equipment issues

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
Basic math skills
Strong team player with a reliable and punctual work ethic
Enthusiastic, energetic attitude

Desirable Skills – A Bonus, But Not Essential:

Current LF Forklift License (would be an advantage)

HR Truck License

Experience in Health & Safety

Basic computer skills

Background in the food industry
