About the role

Evolve Early Education in Mackay, Queensland is seeking highly skilled and enthusiastic Casual Qualified Early Childhood Educators to join our team. As a casual employee, you will have the flexibility to work a schedule that suits your needs, while contributing to the care and education of young children in our vibrant, purpose-built early learning centre.

What you'll be doing

Providing a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally-appropriate learning environment for children aged 0-5 years

Planning and facilitating play-based learning activities that support children's physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to children's development and daily routines

Collaborating with families to understand and meet the individual needs of each child

Ensuring a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all legislative requirements and centre policies

Participating in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

A minimum of a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)

Experience working in a long day care or kindergarten setting, preferably with children aged 0-5 years

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences

A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)

First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications (or willingness to obtain them)
