About the role

Apple Dental, a leading dental practice in Newstead, QLD, is seeking a dedicated part-time Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our dental practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling telephone inquiries

Assisting the dentists and dental hygienists with various clinical and administrative tasks

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Providing excellent customer service to our patients

Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and practice policies

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting, preferably as a receptionist or assistant

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, dentists, and the broader practice team

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to effectively manage a busy schedule

Proficient in using dental practice management software and standard office applications

A friendly, patient-focused attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure
