Your opportunity:
- To participate in the provision, development and maintenance of an effective, efficient and equitable clinical service to the hospital patients in consultation with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses and allied health professionals.
- To contribute to the continual upgrading of medical education, and dissemination of knowledge to staff and patients.
- The appointment will be to the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service for the provision of services to Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals.
- A Principal House Officer is a medical practitioner in the third or subsequent year of practical experience after eligibility for full registration as a medical practitioner.
Several Temporary Full Time Positions (76 hours p.f.) from date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Our offer:
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $175,370 p.a., comprising salary between $129,583 - $150,240 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) and Vocational Training Subsidy (L4-L9) (Several Temporary Full Time Positions, 76 hours p.f., from date of appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension). About Wide Bay Hospital & Health Service

Private patients are asked to complete a National Private Patient Hospital Claim Form. This will be provided to your health fund detailing your treatment and your consent to utilise your private health insurance.
To minimise any inconvenience to private patients, the majority of the Medical Specialists participate in efficient billing practices including 'no gap' arrangements with major health funds. This ensures that your medical bills are handled directly by your health fund, rather than patients having to liaise with medicare and their health fund to receive rebates.
