About the role

Kyogle Memorial Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide a high level of evidence-based nursing care within the specialty area of rural or rural generalist health care, to improve access and address gaps in existing services through the provision of a flexible and innovative model of care.

You'll provide clinical and professional leadership as an expert in the clinical field, and undertake comprehensive health assessments, as well as collaborating and consulting with other members of the healthcare team to plan, implement and evaluate care. This integrated approach will support best practice and maximise patient care outcomes.

The Transitional Nurse Practitioner is appointed for a provisional period of up to three (3) years until the applicant meets the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) requirements for nurse practitioner endorsement.

Also known as the Rainbow Region, this area is blessed with stunning forests and waterfalls, fertile farming land, artistic villages and relaxed seaside communities. For a different type of scene, you can drive to the Gold Coast in less than 2 hours, or Brisbane in under 3 hours.
