Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales. Our office is found close to public transport in the heart of Macquarie Street CBD, next to the State Library and Sydney’s Botanic Gardens.

About you:
The Manager Stakeholder Engagement is responsible for developing and implementing communications and engagement strategies. The role leads change impact discussions, managing and building sustainable partnerships, and overseeing consultation with all relevant stakeholders, including Members of Parliament and their staff, heritage and access advisors, contractors, visitors, and community representatives.

2. In a multi-year program, how do you ensure consistent messaging and sustained engagement with stakeholders? Provide an example where you identified emergent or contentious issues early and adjusted your approach based on community or industry trends and perceptions relevant to the project?
