About the role

• The purpose of this role is to deliver high level Nuclear Medicine Scientist/Technologist service, demonstrating a high-level of knowledge, skills and experience.
• To provide independent high level Nuclear Medicine services of a varied and complex nature where routine protocols may require modification, with only occasional supervision.
• To provide clinical leadership within the team including clinical practice supervision

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Deliver high level Nuclear Medicine Scientist clinical services across multiple-modality specialties in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards within established clinical and radiation hygiene protocols.
• Exercises independent professional judgement in decision making in a clinical environment where the caseload is varied and increasingly complex beyond routine nuclear medicine practice.
• Provide clinical advice to supervisors, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding service delivery, equipment, technology and the development of clinical services.
• Provide clinical practice supervision to staff to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within the Nuclear Medicine service.
