About the role

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our dynamic team at Motion Group Pty Ltd Australia in Rutherford, NSW. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across regional and metropolitan areas. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work for a leading provider of Cranage, fabrication and construction solutions.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating a range of heavy vehicles, including semi-trailers and rigid trucks, to transport goods and materials

Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the roadworthiness of your vehicle

Adhering to all relevant road rules, transport regulations, and company policies and procedures

Maintaining accurate records of driving activities, including logbooks and delivery paperwork

Providing excellent customer service by ensuring timely and efficient deliveries

Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles as required

Reporting any issues or incidents to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner

What we're looking for

A valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar truck driving role

A strong commitment to safety and a track record of safe driving practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands

Experience in safe crane use and lifting operations will be highly regarded

Holding a current dogging qualification (DG), along with practical experience, is essential for this position.

Holding a current forklift qualification (LF), along with practical experience, is essential for this position.
