We are currently seeking a skilled Truck Driver/Yard Coordinator to join our team at Steelcorp. Responsibilities:

Safely operate trucks and other vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations

Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other equipment

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on trucks and equipment

Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws while on the road

Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate deliveries and ensure efficient operations

Assist in the yard with organising, storing, and retrieving materials as required

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the yard and storage areas

Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow and meet deadlines

Requirements:

Valid HC or MC truck driver's license with a clean driving record

Forklift license and demonstrated proficiency in operating forklifts

Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in a similar industry

Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
