The Role

We’re seeking a qualified Pharmacist with a passion for technology and innovation to join the team as an Advisory Pharmacist. In this unique role, you’ll bridge the gap between pharmacy practice and software development, playing a pivotal part in shaping the future of pharmacy applications.

You’ll work closely with developers, support staff, business analysts, and administration professionals to ensure the application continues to meet the evolving needs of pharmacists and complies with industry standards and government initiatives.

What You’ll Do

Collaborate with development teams to guide feature design based on real-world pharmacy practices.

Ensure alignment with government initiatives and legislative requirements.

Use your pharmacy expertise to troubleshoot and resolve application and customer issues.

Educate internal teams on pharmacy terminology, workflows, and compliance requirements.

Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing best-practice advice and technical guidance.

Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in product functionality and internal processes.

Assist in database design by applying knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

Attend industry events and visit pharmacies to gather feedback and provide product education.

About You

AHPRA-registered Pharmacist with 2+ years of experience.

Hands-on experience with community pharmacy software.

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

Strong relationship-building and collaborative skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

A problem-solver with a proactive approach to learning and innovation.
