The Role
As a Project Engineer, you’ll be a key member of the delivery team, reporting directly to the Project Manager. You’ll play a critical role in the day-to-day planning, coordination, and management of infrastructure projects—ensuring safety, cost, quality, and time targets are met across the board.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and programming of project works
• Manage and track project budgets, forecasts, and cost control
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project coordination
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, environmental guidelines, and safety standards
• Prepare technical reports, procurement documentation, and quality assurance records
• Assist with contract administration and progress claims
• Actively contribute to solving design or onsite issues as they arise
• Foster a collaborative, proactive, and safe work environment onsite

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
• 2–5+ years’ experience in civil construction, ideally with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
• Proven track record working on infrastructure projects (roadworks, earthworks, utilities, structures, etc.)
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• High level of attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and engineering software
• Full working rights in Australia
