Tax Specialist for a global technology company with strong Australian presence

Hybrid role (2 days office / 3 days home) - St Leonards office

Company Description

An international technology company with an established Australian operation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Tax Consultant to join our team on a 6 month contract. This role is ideal for a tax accounting professional with a strong background in corporate tax and transfer pricing.

Role Description

This position is ideal for candidates with in-depth knowledge of the Australian tax law. You will be hands-on, able to work independently, and ready to dive into both transactional tasks and reporting.

· Manage and execute tax projects, ensuring compliance with corporate tax regulations.

· Conduct transfer pricing analysis and documentation.

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide support including Deloitte who are the auditors

· Provide ad hoc tax advice to the business as needed.

· Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), auditors, and other external parties as necessary.

· Work closely with the wider finance team on tax-related issues and initiatives.

Required Experience

· Several years of experience in corporate tax and transfer pricing.

· Previous experience within tax / transfer pricing is highly advantageous.

· Exposure in preparing/developing Transfer pricing documentation

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred

· Strong organisational and time management skills
