What’s the job?
The Future Student Advisor - Schools State Lead will be responsible for building strong relationships on behalf of Torrens University in order to achieve its strategic goal of recruiting high quality applicants throughout Australia.
The Schools State Lead will own a territory, or a state of high schools and cultivate good working relationships with high school principals, career counsellors and/or teaching staff, to plan and facilitate events and other initiatives in order to obtain quality leads for each college in the TGE Australia network. You will also be responsible for delivering targeted student enrollments through the management of Tertiary Admissions Centers.
This is primarily a field-based business development role as well as a marketing role that has one key objective – to meet new student targets.

This is a permanent full-time role based in Adelaide. This role provides the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment within the business hours (9 am to 5 pm) and with occasional events during weekends, such as orientations or Open days. This role is required to visit multiple locations around Adelaide.
Note: You must hold full working rights to be successfully selected for this role.
Accountabilities:
Business Development & Account Planning:
Develop and execute the engagement plan for the territory, segmenting and prioritising high schools and contacts
Build relationships with key contacts within the territory to sell TGE Australia’s entities and gaining quality leads from Year 10 to Year 12 students to nurture & convert to an enrolled student.
Marketing:
Set up event stands and attend schools career fairs – under the direction of the Marketing Manager, Schools Channel
Build and deliver informative and entertaining presentations at school career fairs
Data Quality:
Actively gather and document all supporting documents required to create a compliant record
Ensure lead, account and enrolment data is collected and accurate at all times
Application Management:
Actively engage TAC applicants through conversion process
Participate in team meetings, Open Days & Information Sessions when required by the Student Recruitment Manager
We Are Looking For:
Tertiary qualification (desirable)
2-5 years + experience in a sales role, ideally field-based
Intermediate to advanced competency in the use of MS Word and MS Excel
Competent in the use of content management systems (Salesforce)
Admissions experience within HE and /or VET sector (advantageous)
Marketing experience also well regarded
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong relationship development and management skills
Presentation skills
Time management skills
Ability to give direction and follow instruction
Self- starter - ability to work autonomously in a self-driven environment
Successful track record in meeting and exceeding targets
