About the company:

Our client specializes in the design & construction of major industrial projects within Australia’s mining & infrastructure sectors.

This role will have you reporting to the project director and working on the delivery of an NPI Design & Construct project for a major mining client in WA, they have a strong pipeline of NPI projects ahead.

Responsibilities:

Manage & coordinate the design interface between the design subconsultants and the client.

Coordinate all design activities for assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, overseeing project design, and engineering work.

Facilitate weekly design coordination meeting with all disciplines

Review, manage & resolve any design-related queries, conflicts and scope or details changes

Experience:

Prior non-process infrastructure experience is essential

Experience leading design teams in the mining & resources industry or coordinating design subconsultants

Strong capability to liaise and communicate with key clients & stakeholders

Client facing skills

Ability to oversee day-to-day operations of the external design consultants

Full working rights in Australia is a requirement for the position
