This full-time role based in Bendigo, VIC offers the opportunity to be part of our prestigious hospitality establishment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for all members and guests.

What you'll be doing

Front of House

Greeting and welcoming members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanour

Managing bookings, enquiries and reservations in a timely and efficient manner

Assisting members and guests with their queries and ensuring their needs are met

Maintaining the high standards of presentation and cleanliness in the front-of-house areas

Waiting on members and guests at luncheons, dinners and events

Providing support to the wider hospitality team as required

Cook

Assisting Chef in daily operations

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and customer preferences

Ensure quality and presentation of food meet company standards

Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and equipment

Monitor food inventory and communicate shortages or needs

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries

Work cooperatively with kitchen and service staff

What we're looking for

Front of house

Previous experience in a customer-facing front-of-house role in the hospitality industry, with hands on experience waiting on customers

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of guests

Excellent organisational and multitasking capabilities

Proven commitment to delivering outstanding customer service

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and some public holidays

A passion for the hospitality industry and creating memorable experiences for members and guests

Cook

Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred (restaurant or commercial kitchen)

Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Strong communication and time management skills

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
