About the role

Therapies for Kids' is seeking an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our transdisciplinary team in Lilyfield (Sydney's Inner West). You will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to children (0-18) with a wide range of developmental and physical needs. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, transdisciplinary environment and contribute to the overall wellbeing of the children in our care.

What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify each child's unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans

Implement a range of physiotherapy interventions, such as therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, including DMI, suit therapy, Spider Cage, vibration therapy, eStim and treadmill.

Delivering one-on-one and group physiotherapy interventions to support the physical, cognitive, and social development of paediatric clients

Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care

Maintaining detailed clinical notes and records in accordance with professional and organisational standards

Participating in regular team meetings and professional development activities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

Contributing to the growth and development of the physiotherapy service at Therapies for Kids

What we're looking for

Degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

A vocational drive to work in paediatrics

A minimum of two years' demonstrated experience in paediatric physiotherapy, preferably some in a community-based or private practice setting

Strong clinical assessment and evidence-based intervention skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Commitment to ongoing professional development
