• Largely paediatric caseload with 10/15% adult referrals, occassionally required to cover hospital leave this will be 95% adult caseload
• This is a sole Physiotherapy role working with the MDT - not suitable for juniors
• To start ASAP - late May/early June

Experienced Physiotherapist required for this publicly funded community service in the Northern Territory. You will join a small team allied health clinicians and cover the following caseload:

• The caseload covers adults and paediatrics outpatients in the clinic and outreach to remote communities. The region is quite diverse in its population with high migrant population and high proportion of Aboriginal people. They work on a transdisciplinary model so generally two disciplines work together and travel together (eg PT and OT, SP and PT etc..)
• The role requires case management skills, experience with adults & paediatrics and community education
• The role involves occasional travelling to remote communities in the Big Rivers region by 4WD or light aircraft, staying overnight during weekdays.
• Join a team of OTs, Speech Pathologist, Social Worker, Public Health Dietitians, Allied Health Assistant, a Team Leader
• ASAP start for 3 months + possible extension
• Return travel reimbursed and free accommodation for locums.

Locum rates of $70-$80 per hour super (depending on experience). Great feedback from my current locum!
