About the role

Headland Technology Pty Ltd, a leading provider of advanced automation solutions, is seeking a CNC Field Service Engineer to join our talented team. In this full-time role based in Rydalmere, NSW, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance for our clients' CNC machinery and automation systems.

What you'll be doing

• Performing on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of CNC machines and related equipment
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex technical issues, implementing effective solutions
• Providing training and guidance to clients on the proper operation and care of their CNC systems
• Documenting all work performed and maintaining detailed service records
• Liaising with the engineering and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our service offerings

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical role
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with a solid understanding of CNC machine technology
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively liaise with clients
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
