We are seeking some talented and experienced Full-Time Chefs to join our team and help us continue to provide our customers with the best Indian dining experience in Hamilton.

What You'll Do:

Direct and coordinate food and beverage preparation, ensuring smooth operations and impeccable quality.

Become a master of menu pricing, analyzing recipes to calculate food, labor, and overhead costs accurately.

Showcase your culinary prowess, preparing and cooking diverse dishes in quantity, from daily specials to exclusive functions.

Champion safety and hygiene, maintaining records, enforcing regulations, and ensuring a squeaky-clean kitchen environment.

Take charge as a leader, recruiting and training staff, scheduling work hours, and supervising your kitchen crew.

Share your expertise, demonstrating new techniques and equipment, ensuring everyone thrives in your culinary symphony.

Be an artist on a plate, determining food presentation and creating decorative displays that tantalize the eyes and taste buds.

Become the guest's culinary confidante, discussing menus for weddings, parties, and banquets, exceeding expectations with every occasion.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Chef in a similar restaurant setting.

Proven ability to prepare a wide variety of Indian dishes.

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality (or equivalent).

A passion for creating delicious and high-quality food.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A focus on safety, hygiene, and organization.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary of $70,000-$80,000 plus superannuation.

4 weeks of annual leave to explore and recharge.
