About the role

Tweed Community & Allied Health is seeking a Child and Family Health Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (CNS2) to coordinate and deliver high quality nursing care to patients/clients in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia’s National Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses, criteria for CNS2 as outlined in the Public Hospital Nurses and Midwives (State) Award and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).

The CNS2 Child and Family Health is responsible for development and delivery of complex specialist nursing care in relation to health screening, assessment and advisory service to families with children aged 0 to 5 years.

Providing leadership in delivery of effective quality care for clients with complex care needs; infant feeding; developmental assessment; through evidence based practice and quality improvement.
