Red Mulga Australia Pty Ltd provides project management and various services related to civil and construction work, labour hire, traffic management, site preparation, plant hire, demolition and asbestos removal, transport and logistics, industrial services, concrete manufacturing, and maintenance of fixed and mobile equipment.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time (with 38 ordinary hours per week) Motor Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles through high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including engines and engine components, brake parts, steering and transmission, tyres and suspension.
Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicle engines and various components.
Utilise diagnostic equipment and tools to identify faults for repair.
Repair and replace worn, defective or faulty parts and components.
Respond to vehicle breakdown service calls and provide on-site repairs.
Conduct performance tests on completed vehicles.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance to customers.
Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
Requirements:
Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or Certificate IV or three years of relevant work experience in lieu of.
At least two years of proven experience as a Motor Mechanic.
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license.
