About the Role
We seek an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse or Midwife passionate about postnatal care and lactation support. This contractor position provides exceptional flexibility, allowing you to manage your schedule and work in a supportive, client-centred environment. Key Responsibilities

Provide personalised, evidence-based postnatal care to families in-home or via telehealth

Deliver lactation consultations including assessment, education, and support

Support maternal and infant health, including emotional well-being

Assist with common postnatal challenges such as sleep, settling, and routines

Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with clients and the broader Hush team

Uphold professional standards and represent Hush with care, respect, and discretion

Requirements

Registered Nurse or Midwife with current AHPRA registration (no conditions or undertakings)

Minimum 3 years’ experience in maternity, postnatal, or child and family health

Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills

Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Valid driver's licence and reliable transport

Desirable Attributes

IBCLC certification (or working towards certification)

Comfortable with digital health platforms and technology
