The Palais Royale Boutique Hotel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. As we expand our dining offerings, we need an enthusiastic individual ready to contribute to our breakfast, lunch and dinner services, ensuring a delightful experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Assist the Head Chef with menu planning and the creation of daily specials that align with current food trends.

Assist the Head Chef with stocktaking and ordering supplies to maintain a well-stocked kitchen inventory.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene

standards.

Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team to ensure timely and efficient service.

Contribute to a positive team environment, fostering collaboration and communication. •

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in a similar cooking role or culinary environment.

Relevant commercial cookery certificate or equivalent qualifications.

Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and OHS practices.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks under pressure.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and consistency.

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
